Gillette Venus launched in 2001. Two decades later, the feminine grooming space evolved, and it was time for Venus to do the same. As a legacy brand, it was important that we helped Venus evolve in ways that felt authentic to their core identity. The evolution centered on refreshing these three key elements: the anthem, the people, and their stories. Together, these efforts positioned Venus not just as a product, but as a progressive, culturally attuned voice in the feminine grooming space.

Venus is a feminine grooming brand. We proved the value of representing femininity through a more contemporary lens. Together, we helped Venus charter a bold new course—one that honors authenticity, inclusivity, and self-expression in front of and behind the camera.
THE STORIES
Not only was it important to feature a diverse representation of skin and femininity, but it was equally important to give the women a platform to tell their story in their own words. Through an evergreen series, we amplified the voices of the women featured by offering them a meaningful platform to share personal, skin-related narratives.
